I am from Cypress, Texas, and growing up I always had a love for sports and fitness. I was a college-athlete at Southwestern University, where I had the privilege to swim and obtain a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a minor in Business. I also pursued my first strength and conditioning internship at Southwestern University, where I worked with about 13 varsity sports teams and learned the biomechanical importance of strength training for sports. After graduation, I completed a summer-long sports performance internship with the Strength and Conditioning staff at Rutgers University. I then went on to pursue a graduate assistantship at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, where I earned a Masters of Education in Sports Administration. I was in charge of Volleyball and cheerleading and assisted the Head Coach with Football and Men’s basketball. I landed my first full-time position as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Yale University, where I was in charge of Softball, Gymnastics, Swimming, Diving, and Fencing. My journey in college athletics continued with a short stint as an assistant swim coach at Amherst College, where I had the opportunity to embrace new coaching challenges and refine my coaching skills. On a more personal note, when I’m not in the gym, you can find me binge watching Law and Order, trying new foods, or sitting at a coffee shop. I am thrilled to be back in the world of Strength and Conditioning and am even more excited to be at Relentless Athletics. I plan to leverage my passion for strength and conditioning at Relentless Athletics to mentor and support young women so they feel confident and strong!

I am from Lincoln, Kansas and attended Lincoln High School. I have always had a love of sports and grew up watching Kansas University men’s basketball games. I was lucky enough to play volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and went on to play volleyball at Ottawa University. While at Ottawa, I was able to intern in the weightroom and spend many hours with a variety of athletes and see how to coach their programs. I also interned for Kansas University Football with their strength and conditioning program. After graduating from Ottawa, I went on to become an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Ottawa for the spring semester. Starting in the fall, I was a graduate assistant coach for Tusculum University with their strength and conditioning program. While taking classes for my masters degree, I coached scout team football, women’s lacrosse, women’s basketball, and cross country. All of these experiences led me to become a strength and conditioning coach at Relentless and continue helping athletes reach their full potential! Fun fact: I love any outdoor activity like hiking and kayaking and am always on the lookout for a new trail or local coffee shop! Why Relentless: Relentless has a great culture for its staff and athletes, while creating a space to continue to learn and grow. Getting female athletes ready for competition and creating a healthy environment for them to do so is something I strive for and believe Relentless is the best place to continue to do so!

Relevant Experience: In high school, I competed in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. I was fortunate to continue my athletic career at the collegiate level, playing defense and taking the draw for the Richmond Women’s Lacrosse team. Beyond competing, I’ve spent the past four years coaching club lacrosse, working with girls ages 5-16, and developing a passion for athlete development and mentorship. After college, I worked as a project manager at a biopharmaceutical company, but came to realize how much I missed being around sports and directly working with athletes. This fall, I plan to return to school to pursue my M.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology to strengthen my ability to support athletes.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, I enjoy reading, outdoor activities with friends and family, yoga, trying new restaurants/cuisines, and traveling!
Why Relentless: I am excited to be at Relentless because of the culture and community they’ve built for female athletes. It is a space where athletes feel supported, challenged, and empowered, not just to become stronger and more skilled in their sport, but to grow as confident and resilient females as well! I have always had a passion for coaching and sports, and I am super excited to join the Strength and Conditioning world as part of such a great organization!
Milo is Coach Emily’s dog and the best gym mascot Relentless could ask for! He is the only boy allowed on the Relentless floor who will greet you with kisses & demand belly rubs. Be prepared to experience Milo’s kisses & to have him throw a soccer ball at you during your session because he wants you to kick it for him.
